How to Setup a New Account


1. Have the customer scan the QRcode located on the station. The QR code will redirect them to our support page where they can download the mobile app by visiting either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store based on device.
  1. If the customer can not scan the QR code, direct them to their devices app store and have them search "Livingston Charge Port"
    1. Charge Port EV Charging will be the first app displayed - This is not the correct app
    2. Describe the below icon so the customer knows what to look for.



2. Once downloaded, advise the customer to click on Sign Up For Free












If Driver gets unknown error signing up, ask if they are on Wi-Fi. If yes, ask them to use cellular. If not on Wi-Fi, ask if cellular connection is strong

2a. A verification code will be emailed to the driver from no-reply@verificationemail.com
  1. The driver will need to enter this verification code into the app
  2. Once entered advise the driver to click Verify Code
2b. Have the driver log in using their email and password.

3. Once the account is created the driver will need to add a payment method. Advise the driver to click the Menu button in the top left corner and choose Payment Info and History


4. The Driver will now need to click on Add Payment and enter their credit card information.
Advise the customer that we do not charge by each individual session. Drivers are charged on a 30-day window or when they reach a combined balance of $25 whichever occurs first.



5. After the driver has added a payment method they will be able to start a charging session. Pull up the Nearby Locations list and choose the closest location. Choose the station number you are parked at, and click Start Charging. You will get a notification when the transaction has begun, and once the transaction is complete.


6. To stop the charging session, open the active charging session by click on the green lightening bolt on the location map (see below). This will bring up the current session. Click Stop Charging to end the charge.
